Ingredients

  • 2 tsp chic:ORY instant chicory powder
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric.
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon.
  • Pinch of ground black pepper (activates curcumin)
  • ¼ tsp fresh ginger, grated.
  • 250 ml oat milk or coconut milk.
  • 1 tsp raw honey.
  • Pinch of sea salt.

Directions

  1. Warm oat milk gently in a small saucepan over medium heat; do not boil.
  2. Add Chic:ORY powder, turmeric, cinnamon, pepper and grated ginger directly to the warming milk.
  3. Whisk continuously for 3 minutes until fragrant and fully incorporated.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in honey and a pinch of sea salt.
  5. Pour through a fine mesh strainer if using fresh ginger.
  6. Serve in a glass mug with a cinnamon stick and a dusting of turmeric.
